A place to begin again

The Tree and the Spiral

Audiobook — Narrated by the Author

Some books explain ideas.
This one keeps you company while you think —
and when you need to begin again.

A Different Way In

The Tree and the Spiral was written slowly and intentionally — and it works especially well when heard.

Listening allows the book to unfold at a human pace, with space for pauses, humor, and reflection. Many listeners return to it during moments of transition — times when they’re not looking for answers as much as a place to start again.

This is a book for walks, long drives, early mornings, and late nights — moments when thinking and feeling overlap.

A Note from the Author

When it came time to record the audiobook, I chose to narrate it myself.

Not because it’s better read by me — but because it was written from this voice.

The tone, timing, and moments of lightness or gravity matter. The audiobook preserves that pacing — and the permission to pause, reflect, and begin again when needed.

Think of it less as a performance and more as a guided conversation.

What Listening Feels Like

This audiobook is reflective without being heavy, hopeful without being naïve.

Some listeners move through it from start to finish. Others dip back into certain chapters — returning not to rewind the argument, but to reset.

Both are ways of beginning again.

What This Audiobook Is — and Isn’t

This isn’t a manifesto or a demand for moral perfection.

It’s a practical, grounded exploration of how small, repeated choices shape larger patterns over time.

And when those patterns break — as they always do — the invitation is simple:

Begin again.

Kindness begins as a small seed.
Given the right conditions, it grows into a forest.
